Mirian Foundation has continued to create impact as a social enterprise trademark as people living with disabilities and women from SCC Road in Bwari were major beneficiaries of an intensive skills acquisitions and job creation training which held on Thursday, 11th April, 2019. Mirian Pat Foundation believes that empowering women to participate fully in economic life across all sectors is essential to build stronger economies, achieve international agreed goal for development and sustainability as well as improve the quality of life especially for women and girls as well as for people living with disabilities. Over 100 selected women including people living with disabilities who participated in the Skills acquisition and job creation training were empowered on several skills for economic sustainability to help in the establishment of small businesses in generating substantial amount of employment and income so as to be able to continue to support their respective families and the Communities at large.
