Empowering the women!

In line with the sustainable development goal 1 (No Poverty), goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities), the Mirian Pat Foundation, after completing the training on skills acquisition for the women living with disability, of the Karon-Majiji community, were here again to have the women display and exhibit their various skills on what they have been taught. It was indeed great to see how good the women were in producing the skills taught them by the Mirian Pat Foundation. The women produced Bleach, Liquid soap, Kpof-kpof and Chin- chin. They also displayed their skills in Tailoring and Hair- making. They Chin-chin and Kpof-kpof produced by the women was also served as snacks for entertainment to all those present, to the community Emir, the Secretary, and also to other people in the community.

A total of 100 women part took in this exhibitions in the various skills and are looking forward to owning their own businesses in line with the skills they have mastered.

The Mirian Pat Foundation has been well known for her humanitarian work in the past, thus embarking on different outreaches to create a better life for the PLWD, touching the lives of the people who are in different needs, and also generally touching lives in different ways to make our society a better place to live.
