Project: LEPROSY CAN’T STOP US PROJECT

Today, about 180,000 people worldwide are affected by leprosy, according to the WHO, most of them in Africa and Asia. In the Angwan Kutare settlement of Dakwa- Dei- Dei, there are over 36 people living with leprosy (men and women inclusive). This indeed poses a physical challenge to these people who are ready to create a source of livelihood for themselves.

As a major part of its existence, the Mirian Pat Foundation, in collaboration with the Social Development Secretariat, took to these wonderful people, a medication outreach and a sensitization program about their health status and well- being, and also food materials as palliatives for the COVID- 19 pandemics.

Many thanks to the Social Development Secretariat, FCT.

We care…
